I can’t believe I am saying it’s “Back to School” already! Where did our summer go? We hope you all had a fun and exciting summer and we hope you took lots of pictures to scrapbook too! We have some cool new paper by Sandylion called “rouge de garance” that is perfect for summer pages. Its bright, vibrant colours will really bring your pictures alive, especially with all their coordinating rub-ons and stickers.    We are sorry to say that Imaginisce has informed us that they are retiring their “A Shore Thing” collection. This has been one of our most popular sellers. The Shore Thing collection is perfect for your beach and holiday pictures. We do have paper, stamps and embellishments left so hurry in because once they’re gone, they’re gone. The good news is that we are bringing in all the new Imaginisce collections in very soon. We already have the entire Christmas and Halloween collections in but they are going fast!!!   September is another busy month for us at Making Memories with Scrapbooking. We have so many cool, new projects in store for you! The BIG SHOT machine continues to be a BIG HIT so we have a class dedicated to embossed cards using the Cuttlebug folders. We have a fun, 3-D card class that will totally inspire you to challenge yourself to new limits! A neat project for moms, is our A-Z school days book, and for all the newly engaged brides, we have a brand new set of wedding invites to make, as well as a special wedding class for making wedding details and a mini album. The projects will be available on line and in our stores very soon.

You wanted another Garage Sale so here it is: Saturday, September 13th at our Vancouver location only.  The garage Sale will be held in our cropping room and will be open to the public from 10:30 – 2:30.  For those of you who wish to sell your gently used scrapbooking or card making supplies, you can rent a table for $10. You must call in and pre-pay for your table. (One table per person. No refunds on tables.) Our Garage Sales have been very popular so come out grab some great deals!

Thank you to all the kids who took part in our Summer Kids Program. We hope you enjoyed yourselves over the last 8 weeks, we sure had fun getting to know all of you. This was our first year of hosting kids classes throughout the summer, and we will be definitely doing the program next summer with new projects! We are happy to announce that we will be hosting Kids classes every first Saturday of the month starting on Saturday, September 6th at 10:30a.m. – 12:00 noon. Each month, we will be doing a new class in scrapbooking, mini books, cards and other great projects. Each class will vary in price, depending on the project. Kids membership cards will be available as well. See our website for all the details.
